Natalee (Taylor) Jukes

Taylor developed a love for the radio industry at a young age, scoring her first job on a Street Team in Kelowna in 1998.  After getting her feet wet, she enrolled in Columbia Academy and graduated with Newscaster of the Year honours in 2001.

Her first year working in the industry was split between 104.9 XFM Vancouver as the Cruiser girl and Mountain FM Squamish pulling on air shifts and learning the ropes in Promotions.  Moving to Kelowna, she spent almost three years carrying various on air shifts within the Standard Radio group (now Astral Media) as Midday host at The Bullet, morning show producer and networked evening host on 99.9 Sun FM.

In 2004 CHUM was granted a new FM license in Edmonton for a Top 40/Urban station and Taylor was hired to host the midday shift.  After 2 successful years in that shift, she was promoted to Afternoon Drive Host and achieved excellent ratings in the key F25-34 demographics.  She developed a relationship with her listeners, while hosting a weekly on-location at a popular restaurant. Her brand grew more even more by hosting a feature on City TV called ‘CityBeat’; showcasing entertainment news, local events and local music.  Staying within CHUM, Taylor then took the plunge into a brand new morning show in Winnipeg.

After deciding to move back to BC, she signed on with Vista Radio as Assistant Program Director to successfully launch Kelowna’s first new FM license in 2008 - a Classic Hits music station.  She has finally landed at home in Vancouver,  surrounded by friends and family, where she is the Assistant Brand Director (APD), Music Director and hosts the Midday show 10am-2pm at Virgin Radio Vancouver. Music, Fashion, food and Social Media are just a few of Taylor’s passions.
